My Solar Eclipse Experience

Monday at 2:44 p.m. the eclipse reached its full totality. The sky got darker, temperatures decreased and the street lights began to come on.

There was a DJ, vendors, the band played their infamous songs like pass the peas and love saw it at the solar eclipse event Monday afternoon.

For some who didn't know what the eclipse meant there were websites such  as https://eclipse2017.nasa.gov/eclipse-who-what-where-when-and-how to describe exactly what was occurring that day.

An unknown photographer caught an amazing picture of the 2019 junior class watching the different phases of the eclipse.

As the sky got darker people started to cheer, chant and applause. Children were in awe as totality began to kick in. Families from around the world traveled to South Carolina State University just see the solar eclipse.

At approximately 2:27 I took the solar eclipse shades and put my IPhone 7 plus camera to the lens and snapped a picture with the flash on. To check out more amazing videos and photos from the solar eclipse go to https://www.space.com/33797-total-solar-eclipse-2017-guide.html.
